Return & Refund Policy – Adventures with Tilley
This Return & Refund Policy explains how cancellations, refunds, credits, and transfers work across all Adventures with Tilley services, including social walks, neutral walks, 1:1 sessions, workshops, and community events.
As we provide time-based, scheduled services rather than physical products, this policy reflects preparation time, limited availability, and group safety considerations.
1. General Refund Policy
Refunds are only offered in line with the notice periods outlined below.
Due to the nature of our services—including preparation, travel, and limited spaces—we are unable to offer refunds outside of these terms.
2. Cancellations by You
48+ hours’ notice
If you cancel with 48 hours or more notice, you may choose:
A full refund, OR
A credit for a future session, OR
A transfer to another available date
(All transfers are subject to availability.)
Less than 48 hours’ notice
❌ Non-refundable
❌ Non-transferable
This is due to:
Spaces are rarely being filled at short notice
Group safety planning is already being completed
Time and preparation have already been invested
No-shows
If you do not attend and have not contacted us:
❌ No refund
❌ No credit
❌ No transfer
3. Late Arrival
Sessions begin promptly to support calm, safe group dynamics—particularly for sensitive or reactive dogs.
If you arrive more than 5 minutes late:
You may not be able to join
❌ No refund, credit, or transfer will be provided
4. Cancellations by Adventures with Tilley
We may cancel sessions due to:
Severe weather
Unsafe conditions
Illness or emergency
Low enrolment (for events)
If we cancel, you will receive:
✔ A full credit, OR
✔ A rescheduled session
Refunds may be offered in exceptional circumstances at our discretion.
5. Block Bookings & Packages
Non-refundable once the first session has been used
Sessions may be transferred with 48+ hours’ notice
Unused sessions expire after 6 months
All transfers are subject to availability
6. Workshops & Special Events
Due to planning, preparation, and limited spaces:
7+ days’ notice → Full refund or credit
3–6 days’ notice → 50% refund or credit
Less than 72 hours → Non-refundable
Transfers may be offered where space allows.
7. Behaviour & Safety Removal
If a dog or guardian is removed due to safety concerns, undisclosed behaviour, or breach of terms:
❌ No refund or credit
This includes (but is not limited to):
Aggressive behaviour
Unsafe handling
Undisclosed reactivity
Failure to use required equipment (e.g., muzzle where needed)
Use of inappropriate equipment
Dogs in season attending group sessions
Not following guidance or instructions
This ensures the safety and well-being of all participants.
8. Medical or Emergency Cancellations
If you or your dog experience sudden illness or an emergency:
Be sure to get in touch with us as soon as possible.
At our discretion, we may offer:
A credit, OR
A rescheduled session
9. Weather Adjustments
Refunds are not provided if sessions are:
Shortened
Adjusted
Ended early for safety
If conditions prevent a session from starting, a full credit or reschedule will be offered.
10. Refund Processing
Approved refunds will be issued via:
The original payment method, OR
Account credit (where agreed)
Please allow 7–10 working days for processing.
