Slinky’s Adventure Hikes

Slinky’s Adventure Hikes

Longer Social Adventures for Dogs and Their Humans

£25 per dog | Owners attend | 3 to 4 hours

50% of proceeds are donated to a local charity.

Inspired by Slinky’s curious, determined and adventurous spirit, these longer group walks combine everything we love about our Social Walks with more time, more freedom and more opportunity to explore.

Dogs may walk on long lines or off lead where appropriate, giving them the chance to move, explore and enjoy positive social experiences in carefully chosen environments.

These hikes provide opportunities to practise recall, engagement, appropriate social interactions and making good choices around other dogs, while owners continue to build their understanding of canine body language and communication.

Not every dog needs to interact and not every dog needs to be off lead. Each dog is supported as an individual, with freedom and space matched to their needs.

A Different Kind of Social Walk

Slinky’s Adventure Hikes are longer and more relaxed than our regular Social Walks, with more time and freedom to explore.

Owners are encouraged to:

• Read and respond to their dog’s body language

• Respect space between dogs where needed

• Advocate for their dog’s comfort

• Support appropriate social interactions

• Be aware of their dog, the group and the environment

Dogs may walk on long lines or off lead where appropriate. Not every dog needs to interact and not every dog needs to be off lead.

Each dog is supported as an individual, helping to keep the experience safe, positive and enjoyable for everyone.
