What We Offer

At Adventures with Tilley, we offer supportive behaviour-led dog walking, behaviour support, training guidance, and real-life coaching in East Kent for dogs who need more than exercise. Behaviour support is available both in person and online, providing personalised guidance to help dogs and their owners build calm, confidence, understanding, and practical skills for everyday life.

We specialise in working with dogs who are:

  • Reactive to dogs or people

  • Nervous, anxious, or lacking confidence

  • Overstimulated on walks

  • Pulling on the lead or struggling to settle

  • Unable to cope in busy environments

  • Struggling with social interactions

  • Easily overwhelmed or frustrated

  • Touch sensitive or uncomfortable to be handled

  • Wary of strangers (stranger danger behaviours)

  • Displaying resource guarding behaviours

Many of these behaviours come from fear, overwhelm, or uncertainty — not “bad behaviour”. We help you understand what your dog is communicating so you can support them with clarity and confidence.

Whether you’re dealing with daily walk stress or more complex behavioural challenges, our services are designed to help you and your dog feel calmer, safer, and more understood.

Our Approach

Everything we do is built around:

🐾 Partnership, not pressure
Working with dogs rather than against them.

🐾 Understanding, not correction
Looking at the reasons behind behaviour, not simply trying to stop it.

🐾 Connection, not control
Building trust and confidence through positive relationships.

🐾 Real-life learning, not rigid training
Supporting dogs and guardians in everyday situations where progress matters most.

🐾 Emotional safety for both dog and guardian
Creating supportive experiences where everyone can learn and grow together.

At Adventures with Tilley, we focus on how your dog feels, not just how they behave. We believe behaviour is communication, and by understanding the emotions behind it, we can better support lasting confidence, connection, and wellbeing.
